"Wanting to investigate the unexplored uses for Corian, Dupont has asked the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to First ask the question of what culture sees as entertainment, then explore those concepts using Corian as the primary material that connects people to experience.

The eleven interactive objects in the show use both digital and analog technologies, not only as an interface, but also to question the meaning of being entertained. Is it passive, or participatory? Is it a solo activity, or among many? Is entertainment constantly changing, or a constant through time? Does entertainment equal fun, or is it something deeper?"
